Privacy

Wallpaperfolk is a static gallery. There are no accounts, no forms, and nothing you type is sent anywhere. This page covers the small amount of information that visiting any website generates.
What gets recorded
When you load a page or download a wallpaper, the hosting provider logs the request: your IP address, browser and device type, the page or file, the referring page, and the time. Those logs are used to keep the site running and to see which wallpapers are popular. They are not used to identify you.
Ads
The site is paid for by advertising, served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies and use identifiers to choose which ads you see and to measure them, including the DoubleClick cookie, based on your visits here and on other sites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's ad settings, and opt out of many other vendors at aboutads.info.
Cookies
Wallpaperfolk itself sets no cookies. Advertising and analytics partners may. Your browser can block or clear them; the wallpapers download either way.
Analytics
Wallpaperfolk uses Google Analytics to count visits and to see which wallpapers get downloaded, so the popular styles can guide what gets made next. Google sets cookies or similar identifiers to do it. What is recorded is the page, the wallpaper, and the fact that a download happened — never who you are. It is read in totals, not per visitor, and no count is stored on this site.
You can opt out for every site with Google's browser add-on, or block the script; the wallpapers download either way.
Children
The site is for a general audience and is not aimed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect anything from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because Wallpaperfolk holds nothing beyond hosting logs, there is nothing to hand over or delete beyond what your browser and the ad networks control on your side.
